Financial Workshop for Pendana Residents

We were so excited to continue the second session of our personal finance workshops. Our volunteers from Money Sense with Goodwill focused on spending, saving, and budgeting. We were happy to have participants who came to our first session, return to continue in the curriculum.

This session was very informative and inviting. Mrs. Denise did an awesome job of engaging with the residents and encouraging them to participate in the discussion. There were many times where all of us were laughing when sharing each other’s experiences. After the session, we were able to connect a few residents who were interested in setting up an appointment for one-on-one financial counseling with Mrs. Denise.

It was so touching when a resident came up to us after and said that he had lived in a lot of different apartment communities, but never experienced one that cared for its residents the way Pendana does.
